Marketing is Selling Ideas

I wrote about some good marketing by The Globesity Festival. It might seem weird that I plugged an anti-consumerism festival, but it provides a good example of what I find attractive about marketing.
Marketing is about selling ideas, not products. Learning to market, and learning to sell, is an imperative for anyone who wants to influence their peers.
