Try to Change the World
Posted by Josh Klein
Sorry if I get a bit pie-in-the-sky for a moment here (I’m still thinking about Al Gore), but I think we ought to try to change the world more often.
I could tell you all about how low the barrier to entry is in our “modern interconnected world”, where your youtube video can get several million views in a few days, but that’s not the point.
It’s not that you ought to try to change the world because you can.
You ought to try to change the world because you should. What else is there to do?
Update: When I wrote this, I hadn’t even seen Daniel’s new story. He’s a consultant to the UN Rule of Law and Security Program, and a family friend.
