Spoonbuzz is about marketing yourself, your cause, and your business without big money or years of training. It’s about understanding how the economic world works around you. It’s about understanding yourself and your audience.
The insights, commentary, and tutorials at Spoonbuzz will be useful to anyone who has a message to disseminate. This blog is for entrepreneurs, non-profits, academics, and students. It’s for those who want to spread the word without being sleazy.
Spoonbuzz is ad free. It’s written to change your mind.
Who is Josh Klein?
I’m the author of this blog. I work as a strategist and producer at POKE New York, the extension and evolution of POKE London. POKE is a digital think tank, workshop, and interactive agency. In other words, we make cool stuff (hardware, software, and design).
In my business, I’ve worked with MTV, iLORI, Reuters, Teroforma, Rembrandt, and KY, among others.
I have a degree in Political Science and American Culture Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. I’ve been messing around with programming and writing for the web since 2000, and have been consulting on information architecture and strategy since 2002.
I’m also interested in football (both kinds), economics, politics, and consuming as much information as humanly possible. I have a cat, but she doesn’t live with me, which makes me sad.
